Our Purpose
The purpose of The Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation is to connect people with Northern Plains heritage through the creation of education initiatives in conjunction with the development and construction of unique places that attract people to our community and the Missouri River in North Dakota to maximize economic benefits resulting from the activation of interpretive programs at those places.
Our Methods
The Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation will operate heritage tourism businesses including but not limited to: Missouri Riverboat, Inc. DBA The Lewis & Clark Riverboat or The Mnishoshe Charter Pontoon. The Foundation will conduct fund raising activities including the offering of games of chance to support its purpose. It may sponsor educational or interpretive programs, heritage projects, seminars, scientific studies, or the initiatives of external, strategically aligned organizations to make the past relevant in manifold ways.
